PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame-retardant composition excellent in flame retardance, mechanical properties such as flexibility and tensile strength, and resistance to thermal deformation. SOLUTION: This flame-retardant composition comprising (a) 20-60 wt.% hydrogenated copolymer having a content of a vinylaromatic compound of more than 40 wt.% and less than 95 wt.% based on the weight of the hydrogenated copolymer, (b) 0.1-20 wt.% modified elastomer having an atomic group having a functional group and bonded thereto, (c) 30-80 wt.% inorganic filler, and (d) 0.01-2 wt.% fluorine-containing polymer.
