METHOD AND TOOL FOR THE GENERATION OR THE MODIFICATION OF IMAGE PROCESSING PROCEDURAL MAPS

Process to generate or modify a tree (40) driven image processing procedural map (50) having a plurality of levels (43) each having at least one node (41) associated to at least one parameter, comprising the steps consisting in: consider the data of an image to be processed and the effects to be provided to this image; define proceesing parameters of said image; introduce the processing map parameters in a procedural maps generating tool; process said parameters with said tool to generate said processing map so that said map has a tree structure. The invention also provides the map generation and modification tools for the implementation of this method.
