<p>The present invention relates to a honeycomb for the purification of exhaust from internal combustion engine. The said honeycomb is made of a wave metal sheet (2) and a locating metal sheet (1). Said locating metal sheet (1) is provided with concave troughs (3) that are parallel with each other by an interval which is multiple of the pitch of the wave of the wave metal sheet (2). The wave crest of the sheet (2) is axially set in the through (3) of sheet (1). The sheet (1) and sheet (2) are combined with each other to form a plate of which a column honeycomb (4) is made by winding. The advantages of the invention are as following: with good conduction for heat, improved resistance for vibration, excellent purification for exhaust gas, and being long duration life and small in size.</p> |
