摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device where a laser element is arranged easily and an optical axis is smoothly adjusted by adopting an inexpensive element. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup device is provided with a 3-wavelength laser 101 having three laser elements 101a to 101c of different emitted wavelengths housed in the same casing, and a diffraction-grating 102 for axis correction for making the optical axes of laser beams emitted from laser elements nearly coincident. The laser elements 101a to 101c are arranged so that light-emitting points may make a straight line in a view from an emitting side, and distances d1 and d2 between the light emitting points are set according to the diffraction angles &theta;1 and &theta;2 of respective wavelengths by the diffraction-grating 102. A hologram grating pattern is set to the diffraction-grating 102 so that the diffraction efficiency of the laser beam of each wavelength may range reasonably. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
