<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the breakage of wire members connecting a printer part and a scanner part, the fall-off of a connector, the breakage of electrical components due to static electricity, and to make an apparatus visually neat, regarding the image forming apparatus provided with the scanner part placed on a printer part so that the scanner part can be opened/ closed. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical member integrally formed with the scanner part or the housing of the printer part is arranged near the rotation supporting member for the scanner part, and all the wire members for connecting the scanner part and the printer part are arranged inside the cylindrical member, and then, the wire members are covered with the cylindrical member even in a state where the scanner part is opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
