<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for intercepting TGFβ1 signal by retarding the expression of human and mouse TGFβ1 receptor II (TR2) and provide the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The RNA sequence acting as RNAi molecule retarding the expression of human and mouse TR2 is identified to provide the RNA having the sequence and the DNA encoding the same. The expression of TR2 is inhibited by expression of the RNAi molecule in the cells, the signal of TGFβ1 is intercepted. Particularly, in the hepatic cells, apoptosis, fibrosis and/or the stop of the G1 period of the cell cycle are suppressed.
