<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst-carrying metallic filter from which a photocatalyst layer is hardly separable, and a deodorizer having the photocatalyst-carrying metallic filter. <P>SOLUTION: The photocatalyst-carrying metallic filter 10 is equipped with expand metals 11-13 having openings 11a-13a and remainings 11b-13b that are parts other than openings 11a-13a. The opening area percentage of each of the openings 11a-13a is 30-90%; and on the surface of the remainings 11b-13b, unevenness of 0.1-100 μm is formed by a roughening process, such as a satin treatment. On the remainings 11b-13b, a base layer 14 with a film thickness of 0.5-100 μm is formed; and on the base layer 14, a photocatalyst layer 15 with a film thickness of 0.15-50 μm is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
