<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive lithographic printing plate original form for an infrared laser for direct platemaking excellent in scuffing resistance and in discrimination of a formed image. <P>SOLUTION: The lithographic printing plate original form is provided by disposing on a support two or more positive recording layers each containing a resin and an infrared absorbent and having solubility in an aqueous alkali solution increased by infrared laser exposure, wherein a positive recording layer closest to the support among two or more positive recording layers contains a polymer comprising a structural unit represented by formula (1) and a structural unit represented by formula (2).
