<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a paper feed roll having excellent resistance to wear for obtaining high coefficient of friction by applying texture forming on a surface of the roll without causing inconvenience due to inclusion of air by hardening in a proper and short time and maintaining this high coefficient of friction. <P>SOLUTION: A mold constituted by applying texture forming on its surface and inserting a shaft body 1 internally is prepared. Next, urethane composition which contains the components (A) to (E) described below and in which ratio of the component (D) is set to a range of 5 to 50 weight parts for urethane prepolymer of 100 weight parts composed of components (A) and (B) is filled into the mold. By hardening and making the urethane composition filled into the mold react, an urethane-made roll part 2 is formed at the outer periphery of the shaft body 1 to manufacture the paper feed roll. The component (A) is polyether polyol produced by mixing polytetramethylene ether glycol (PTMG) and polypropylene glycol (PPG) at weight ratio of PTMG/PPG of 99/1 to 50/50; (B) is polyisocianate; (C) is a chain extension agent; (D) is a platicizer; and (E) is a diazabicycloamine salt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
