<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water stopping fixture to be used without limitation and capable of easily performing restoration work in a short time at low cost, and easy to be fitted/removed to/from a pipe and having excellent operability and sealability without requiring to be cooled when welding a new valve, and furthermore, to be used independently of piping direction. <P>SOLUTION: An expandable/shrinkable water stopping piece 5 is externally fitted to a shaft body 12 at a position between a washer nut 3 and a washer 4-1 provided in the shaft body 12. An outside operation rod 6 possible to be externally fitted to the shaft body 12 and having a tip possible to be fitted in a nut 4-2 adjacent to the washer 4-1 is provided, and an end of the shaft body 12 on a side opposite to the water stopping piece 5 is projected outward of the outside operation rod 6.
