<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of automatically selecting a paper feeding device even when the image size and paper sheet size differ from each other slightly. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device provided with a plurality of paper feeding devices 20A, 20B, 20C, 20D and capable of automatically selecting one paper feeding device from among the plurality of paper feeding devices has a paper sheet size registering means 101 for registering sizes of paper sheets stored in each paper feeding device, a document size specifying means 104, a reading magnification ratio setting means 105, an image size calculating means 107 for calculating image size from document size and reading magnification ratio, a paper feeding device selecting means 102 for selecting one paper feeding device from among the plurality of paper feeding devices, and an image size allowance width setting means 103.
