<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a highly fine pattern over a wide region on a large sized substrate by a method wherein the highly accurate transferring removal of a coating liquid is performed by utilizing a reversing printing process without employing a large sized highly fine removing plate. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming device for forming an image pattern on the substrate, in which a coating liquid in a region corresponding to a negative pattern is transferred and removed by pressing a removing plate having a protruding part corresponding to the region corresponding to the negative pattern against a coating surface, to both a region corresponding to an image pattern and the region corresponding to the negative pattern of which the coating liquid is coated, and then the coating liquid in the region corresponding to the image pattern left behind on the coating surface is transferred to the substrate, a plurality of removing plates 4 having the protruding parts of the patterns corresponding to every one portion of the negative pattern and equipped so as to transfer and remove the coating liquid by every removing plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
