<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methane fermentation treatment system and methane fermentation treatment method, which enable the high concentrating of methane bacteria in a methane fermenter, and the methane fermentation treatment under heavy load conditions. <P>SOLUTION: Organic waste is methane fermentation-treated in the methane fermenter 2, and unresolved solids contained in supernatant liquor discharged from the methane fermenter and methane bacteria are separated by the difference of their sedimentation velocities using a first separating unit 3. Next, the methane bacteria contained in the separate liquid discharged from the first separating unit is separated from the separate liquid by a second separating unit 4. The methane bacteria separated by the second separating unit are returned to the methane fermenter. In this case, it is possible to increase the concentration of the methane bacteria in the methane fermenter, and to operate the methane fermentation treatment system 1 under heavy load conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
