PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-luminance, energy-saving illuminator for an electronic shutter system camera employing a small solid state image sensor in which the solid state light emitting element is lighted during a period requiring illumination of the camera while automatically following up a variation in brightness on a photographing plane when a moving image is photographed through simple circuitry.
SOLUTION: In the electronic shutter system camera employing the solid state image sensor, a substrate clock signal for controlling storage of charges in the solid state image sensor drive circuit is taken out and waveform-shaped by means of a monostable multivibrator to produce a pulse for setting a period during which charges are discharged from the solid state image sensor. An inverted signal of the pulse is used for lighting the solid state light emitting element. Since the solid state light emitting element is lighted only during exposure period of the electronic shutter in the camera as a result, illumination is effectively performed.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
|
