PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize both miniaturization of a device main body and improvement of reception performance by spatial diversity. SOLUTION: A tuner 5a amplifies a television broadcast signal received via a fixed antenna ANT 1, converts it into an intermediate frequency signal, and controls its gain. A tuner 5b amplifies a television broadcast signal received by a small antenna 70b built in an earphone 7b, converts it into an intermediate frequency signal, and controls its gain. In a first processing system block 20a, a signal outputted from the tuner 5a is subjected to A/D conversion, synchronization processing and FFT processing. In a second processing system block 20b, the same processing as those of the first processing system block 20a are performed for a signal outputted from the tuner 5b. A synthesis circuit 30 synthesizes a signal DSa with a signal DSb. A demodulation circuit 40 demodulates a signal outputted from the synthesis circuit 30, and an error correction circuit 50 performs error correction processing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
