PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of easily focusing a photography image, and to provide an image processing method, a program, and an imaging system. SOLUTION: In a notebook computer 3 connected to a camcorder 1, arithmetic processing is performed to the picture signal of a photography image inputted from the camcorder 1 by a prescribed method, thus forming a first picture signal where the outline of a subject is enhanced. The first picture signal is displayed on an image processing screen 31 for confirmation, thus easily focusing the subject in the camcorder 1. Further, the first picture signal is compared with a threshold, and a second picture signal is displayed where a pixel in the picture signal exceeding the threshold is replaced with a specific color, thus processing a color edge.
