PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To by which it is improve the state wherein a user can not follow the program contents when radio waves are poorly received. SOLUTION: The radio wave receiver is provided with: a display unit 11 displaying character information and receives a radio wave signal including the character information. A voice information error correction detector 6 detects the number of errors which can not be corrected during correction of errors of voice data. An error information processor 10, at least, judges whether to execute the display of the character information on the basis of the detected number of the errors.
