PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation unit of spinning, having a feeding device, for example, a device in a taft feeder, enabling a trouble-free operation by improving a conveying operation from the feeding device or a delivery operation by a downstream conveying device. SOLUTION: The feeding device includes at least one feed roller for a low speed, and an opposite element, for example, a feed tray, and a fiber material is conveyed to a downstream conveying device, for example, a conveyor belt by the feed roller and the opposite element in the preparation unit of the spinning having the feeding device, for example, the device in the taft feeder. The trouble-free operation is enabled by improving the conveying action from the feeding device and the delivery action by the downstream conveying device, and a function between a measured value of the speed of the feed roller, and a measured value of the speed of the conveying device based on time is determined so that the fiber material V is on the moving surface of the conveying device to determine a set value for the optimum speed of the conveying device.
