In a roller pump, an oscillating roller section is oscillatably attached to a rotor section rotating about a shaft. The oscillating roller section has elastic means for supporting a roller supporting arm so that the arm can oscillate about an arm supporting shaft and pressing the roller supporting arm to the shaft side. The roller supporting arm has on its head side a revolving roller supported so as to be rotatable about the supporting shaft. A stator section surrounds the radially outside of a rotor section. The oscillating roller section can oscillate from an evacuation attitude where the revolving roller revolves about the shaft while in contact with the shaft to an operation attitude where the revolving roller revolves about the shaft with a larger revolution radius.
