DEVICE FOR STERILIZING WATER-BASED MEDIUM AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently sterilize a water-based medium by making the best use of such properties of iodine as high sterilizing action, low toxicity and weak oxidation power without damaging the properties of the water-based medium.

SOLUTION: The device for sterilizing is provided with a sterilizing part containing an iodine sustained-release agent eluting at least an iodine component effective for sterilizing, an iodine eliminating part eliminating an iodine component containing at least an iodine ion, an insoluble matter removing part removing insoluble components and an organic substance removing part removing organic substances.
