<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation capable of smoothly and easily carrying out water management and fertilizer management without requiring a large amount of water, and suitable for the cultivation of an aquatic vegetable and a terrestrial vegetable; and to achieve a cultivation technique suitable for the cultivation. <P>SOLUTION: The cultivation installation in a layered shape is formed by mixing sand, soil and water in a water-stored state in an enclosure 1 in which the water can be stored, and leaving the resultant mixture to precipitate the sand faster by the difference in the specific gravities, and to allow the layer of the soil to accumulate thereon. The operations of feeding the water to a prescribed water level at the lower side of the surface of the soil layer in the enclosure, leaving them for a prescribed time, draining the water therefrom, and feeding the water to the prescribed water level again are repeated when cultivating the plant by forming the soil layer having 3-20 cm thickness on the sand layer having 5-30 cm thickness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
