<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system conducting appropriate oxygen supply to a cathode and exhaust of produced water and miniaturizing it. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system circulates fluorocarbon acting as liquid dissolving oxygen and water between the cathode 5 of a cell of a fuel cell 1 and a heat exchanger 11. Oxygen is supplied to the fuel cell by supplying the fluorocarbon in which oxygen is dissolved to the cathode. Water produced by reaction in the cathode is dissolved in the fluorocarbon and exhausted to the outside of the fuel cell.
