PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet tissue container which can be held by one hand and is convenient for carrying.

SOLUTION: This wet tissue container 10 stores a wet tissue 1 and is so shaped that it can be held by one hand. The container 10 is provided with a lower part 11 and an upper part 12 formed on the lower part 11. The opening 13 of the upper part 12 is covered by a cap 15. The cap 15 is energized in the open direction by a coil spring 15c and is caught by an operating part 20 provided slidably on the upper part 12.
