<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an another car detection device and another car detection method for detecting another car around own car without repetition. <P>SOLUTION: Concerning right, left, and rear three radar devices 2, positional offsetsΔXi,ΔYi and a directional offsetΔθi to the front radar device 2 are determined beforehand and set on a peripheral another car search part 16. The peripheral another car search part 16 calculates relative coordinates X, Y to the radar device in front of an object from the distance Di and the directionθi of the object detected by each radar device 2 andΔXi,ΔYi,Δθi set relative to the radar device 2.
