<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment device which can efficiently decompose pollutants by circulating water in a state where decomposer bacteria-planted carriers are floating. <P>SOLUTION: A foam generating means 13, 14 is installed on the bottom of a water tank 1 through which water to be treated is passed. A water wheel 3 for performing water circulation and aeration in the water tank 1 is installed in an opening part formed at the top of the water tank 1. The carriers 15 into which the decomposer bacteria for decomposing the pollutants contained in the water are planted are filled in the water, and are made to float by the foam generating means 13, 14.
