<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an automatic guided vehicle to decide a branch direction at a branch point of a track so as to prevent a program of a controller from becoming gigantic and complicated. <P>SOLUTION: When a control unit of the automatic guided vehicle V1 for carrying loads to a station ST5 of a carried party from a station ST6 of a carrier reaches a decision point 5a just before the branch point 2a on the track 1, it decides whether it goes straight on beyond the branch point 2a or turns left on the basis of information to show the carried party and a track map of the track 1 stored in a memory, and station information received from a controller 10 (information to show situations of transfer actions of other automatic guided vehicles V at stations ST1 to ST6). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
