TWO-BOARD TYPE COLOR SOLID-STATE IMAGING APPARATUS AND DIGITAL CAMERA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and small-sized two-board type color solid-state imaging apparatus carrying out color imaging with high sensitivity, high resolution and high image quality.

SOLUTION: In the two-board type color solid-state imaging apparatus provided with: a color separation prism 35 for separating a three-primary color incident light into green, red and blue colors; a first solid-state imaging element 36 for receiving the red and blue color incident light beams separated by the prism 35 and providing outputs of a red signal in response to the luminous quantity of red color and a blue signal in response to the luminous quantity of blue color; and a second solid-state imaging element 37 for receiving the green incident light separated by the prism 35 to provide an output of a green signal in response to the luminous quantity of green color, an yellow filter for transmitting through the red light is provided to an upper part of each of red color detecting light receiving sections and a cyan filter for transmitting through the blue light is provided to an upper part of each of blue color detecting light receiving sections among a plurality of light receiving sections of the solid-state imaging element 36.
