PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a landslide meter using FBG optical fiber sensors capable of high-precision measurements by measuring the amount of displacement at a specific part, in both the directions of its expansion and contraction directions, and extending the tolerance of measurement. SOLUTION: The landslide meter 2 has the FBG optical fiver sensors and has piles 9 installed at predetermined intervals on the ground, an elastic member 5 and a coil spring 6, connected in series between each of these piles 9 and an adjoining one, and each FBG optical fiber sensor 4 fitted to each elastic member 5 for detecting the strain in the elastic member 5.
