PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial illumination structure of an instrument, capable of suppressing rise in the manufacturing cost and distinguishing three-color display parts using different colors, by reducing the types of the colors of light sources and simplifying the formation processes of a printing layer for dimming printed on a dial. SOLUTION: White light-emitting LEDs 14,... and orange light-emitting LEDs 15,... are arranged in one illumination chamber 13 provided for the back side of the dial 11. The white light-emitting LEDs 14,... are arranged on the back side of a red zone part 8 made of a red print coating layer F, which transmits the red wavelength region, in a display part of the dial 11. In the display part of the dial 11, the orange light-emitting LEDs 15,... are arranged on the back side of a ring-like illumination display part 16, having the red print coating layer F, which transmits the red wavelength region, and on the back side of a general part 12a of a scale part 12 having an orange print coating layer C, which transmits the orange wavelength region.
