PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise controller of a tire capable of enhancing the efficiency of the rim assembly work, preventing any positional deviation while a vehicle travels at a high speed, and maintaining the suppressing effect of the cavity resonance. SOLUTION: The noise controller of the tire is attached to a hollow of a tire formed of a rim and a pneumatic tire mounted on the rim, and formed of a sponge having the specific gravity of 0.005-0.060. The noise controller has an annular base body having an outer circumferential surface making a turn in the circumferential direction of the tire while being pressed against the hollow surface of the tire of a tire tread by the mounting. In the annular base body in the section including the axis of the tire in a free state not mounted on the hollow of the tire, the sectional area S is 1-60 cm<SP>2</SP>, the height H from the outer circumferential surface to the inner circumferential end is 0.5-6.0 cm, the width in the axial direction of the tire is 1-25 cm on the outer circumferential surface, and unchanged or reduced from the outer circumferential surface to the inner circumferential end, and the diameter R of the outer circumferential surface in a free state is 1.00-1.10 times the diameter Rt of the hollow of the tire.
