METAL BOND GRINDING WHEEL AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strengthen connection of a screw to bury in an abrasive material layer in screwing and connecting a grinding wheel chip made of the abrasive material layer in and to a base metal. SOLUTION: This grinding wheel is fastened with nuts 31 by inserting screw rods 23 of the grinding wheel chip 21 molded and baked by burying a part of the screw rod 23 in the abrasive material layer 22 in a screw rod inserting hole 13 formed on the base metal 11. The screw rod 23 is firmly connected to the abrasive material layer 22 by chemical reaction of copper in a metal bond and tin of a galvanizing metal as tin galvanization is applied on an outer surface of the screw rod 23.
