PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow data stored inside to be read into by recovering electronic equipment even temporarily even if the electronic equipment falls out of service by dropping the electronic equipment such as a cellular telephone into water. SOLUTION: A data recovery system is provided with a first regenerating tank formed so as to store a pure water having high purity, circulating means for circulating the pure water in the regenerating tank and purity maintaining means for maintaining the purity of the pure water in the regenerating tank, wherein the electronic equipment is introduced into the regenerating tank, thereby performing so as to wash away deposits attached on an electronic circuit of the electronic equipment by the pure water.
