PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transportation mechanism for a vertical type game machine for improving the workability of transportation work. SOLUTION: The transportation mechanism is provided on the lower part of an outer frame 10 for connecting and supporting a game machine body so as to open and close it through an opening/closing connection and support mechanism. The transportation mechanism comprises support brackets 120 for supporting wheels 130 so as to freely roll, a base member 110 provided on the lower part of the outer frame for supporting the support brackets 120 and forming support parts 2a and 3a in the opening/closing connection and support mechanism, and a locking structure 150 for locking and holding the support brackets 120 supported by the base member 110 at a using position Cp at which the wheels 130 are projected to the outer part of the outer frame 10. When locking the support brackets 120 at the using position Cp, the wheels 130 are projected to the rear part of the outer frame 10 and disposed, and rolling transportation in front and back directions is made possible in the state of grounding the wheels 130 and supporting the game machine body connected by the opening/closing connection and support mechanism.
