<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle communication apparatus properly realizing the low power consumption of its entire part. <P>SOLUTION: In the on-vehicle communication apparatus 1, when a main control circuit 2 normally terminates narrow band wireless communication with an on-road apparatus 20 and shifts from a wakeup state into a sleep state, a wakeup control circuit 3 determines whether a vehicle stays in a narrow band wireless communication area and also determines whether a prescribed wait time equivalent to a release timer value elapses, and when the wakeup control circuit 3 detects that the vehicle is staying in the narrow band wireless communication area, the wakeup control circuit 3 continues the sleep state of the main control circuit 2 without shifting the main control circuit 2 from the sleep state to the wakeup state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
