<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device by which the speed of a partial printing process itself is increased, and in addition, the speed of an interruption returning process using a partial printing function, or a restoration process from a temporary stopped state is increased, and at the same time, the function of a temporary stopping function can be increased, a printing controlling method, a program and a storage medium. <P>SOLUTION: When a printing job giving a printing designation to a specified page is input from a data processing device 101 to the printing device 102, in a video controller 103, the printing job is interpreted, and intermediate data is formed. Then, data other than the designated part in the intermediate data is deleted, and at the same time, image data is formed from the remaining intermediate data which is not deleted.
