<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease or remove a step line that can be recognized visually on the surface of an applique for an instrument. <P>SOLUTION: Instead of using a print layer having a sharp edge for a lower layer, a red colored ink layer 24 having an outer periphery boundary region 36 defined as a dispersed dot pattern is provided on a lower layer. As a result, when an ink layer 26 colored black as an upper layer is formed, the height of a dot pattern can change smoothly in the outer periphery boundary region 36, thus decreasing or removing the step line that can be visually recognized on the surface of the applique 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
