METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING NON-CONTACT CHIP CARD, AND NON-CONTACT CHIP CARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and inexpensively manufacturing a non-contact chip card.

SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the non-contact chip card, a plastic carrier 1 having a gap 6 is provided. An antenna coil 5 is arranged on the surface 4 of the plastic carrier 1. A component 3 having an integrated circuit is arranged on the rear surface 2 of the plastic carrier 1 on the opposite side of the surface 4. Electric coupling is generated between the coil 5 and the component 3. The plastic carrier 1 is introduced in a jet casting mold 9. A card main body 8 is casted and formed by a jet casting process on the rear surface 2 of the plastic carrier 1.
