INTRUSION CONTROL SYSTEM AND GATE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an intrusion unpermitted person for an intrusion limiting area 1 from intruding in the intrusion limiting area 1 via an inlet 2 in a state of being opened by an intrusion permitted person.

SOLUTION: This gate device 3 is arranged in the outside vicinity of the inlet 2 of the intrusion limiting area 1. The gate device 3 is provided with a person number detecting device 5 having a gate area 4 for allowing going in and out of the person and detecting the number of persons staying in the gate area 4, and an individual information reader 6 for reading individual information recorded on an individual information identification IC medium 7 carried by the person staying in the gate area 4 and reading information capable of specifying an individual. The gate device comprises a control device 8 for controlling opening and closing of the inlet 2 on the basis of person number information detected by the person number detecting device 5 and the individual information read by the individual information reader 6.
