PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device improved in contact reliability at contact part and capable of small sizing. SOLUTION: The switch device comprises a housing 1 having a housing section 1a, a plurality of fixed contacts 2 arranged in the housing section 1a, and a movable contact 6 for slide-contacting the fixed contacts 2, and is equipped with a drive member 4 housed in the housing 1 capable of sliding movement, an elastic member 5 for returning the drive member 4 to a neutral position, and an operating member 7 which is engaged with the housing 1 rotatably and makes the drive member 4 sliding move according to the rotation operation. The movable contact 6 is formed in clip shape for both sides sliding and holds the drive member 4 and the plurality of fixed contacts 2 are arranged along the sliding movement direction of the drive member 4, and as the drive member 4 sliding moves, the movable contact 6 clips the fixed contacts 2 and sliding contacts, thereby, switching of the contacts is carried out.
