PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic test system for efficiently executing a test in a program generator. SOLUTION: In this automatic test system 10 for the program generator, a program is automatically generated on the basis of prescribed program specifications, the automatically generated program and a reference program are collated, it is decided whether the automatic generation test succeeds or not, the automatically generated program is built/executed when the test does not succeed, an execution result thereof is collated with reference data, it is decide whether the automatic generation test succeeds or not, and a decision result thereof is notified to a user.
