PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load applied to a front and a rear bolt for fastening a lower arm supporting bracket to the lower part of a knuckle body. SOLUTION: At normal times when a knuckle 13 is free of a load F directed to the back of a vehicle, the straight line L tying together the front 17 and rear bolts 19 for fastening the lower arm supporting bracket 15 to the lower part of the knuckle body 14 is in the toe-in condition, but if a wheel W gets over the surface unevenness of the road or a load F toward the back of the body is applied to the knuckle 13 caused by a brake application etc. to the wheel W, the wheel W is turned into the toe-out condition by the load F to cause the toe-in angle of the straight line L to decrease. As a result, the bolts 17 and 19 are put in alignment in the direction to the front and rear of the vehicle body to cause the dislocation in the vehicle width direction to lessens, which lessens the moment willing to pry the knuckle 13 by the load F toward the back of the vehicle body, and it is possible to reduce the load applied to the bolts 17 and 19 and heighten the durability.
