PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide paper for a pressing postcard in which a proper release strength can be secured in an adhesive layer, color inking properties and printing resistance are excellent, the wear of a sewing machine blade is reduced, blocking is eliminated and the transfer of the adhesive layer to a preheat plate or the like in printing by a laser printer is also prevented. SOLUTION: In the paper for a pressing postcard provided, on a paper support, with an adhesive layer which exhibits no tackiness nor adhesiveness under a normal state, but shows adhesiveness under compression, and furthermore mainly contains a thermal adhesive agent to be releasable after being compressed/adhered and particulate filters, the fine particle fillers of 5 to 100 mass% is a cubic precipitated calcium carbonate having one side average particle diameter of 0.1 to 1μm.
