PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide printing equipment which prevents outflow of confidential information on a master. SOLUTION: A master damaging device 60 is constituted of a rotatable projection roller 61 which has a large number of projections 61a provided on the outer peripheral part, a displacement means 67 which displaces the projection roller 61 between a position of contact shown by a long dashed double-short dashed line where the roller is brought into contact with a platemaking image forming part 35 of the master 21 made into a plate and set on a plate cylinder 9 and a position of separation shown by a solid line where the roller is separated from the position of contact, and a control means 68 which controls a solenoid couple 65 of the displacement means 67 so that the projection roller 61 comes into contact with the platemaking image forming part 35 of the master 21 made into the plate and set on the plate cylinder 9, after printing on a prescribed number of printing sheets of paper P is ended, and also controls a main motor 112 so that the plate cylinder 9 rotates.
