PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient filter device for a re-heating type bathtub with an excellent filtering function. SOLUTION: The filter device comprises an adapter cap 20 detachably attached to an adapter body 4 of a circulation adapter 2 mounted on the re-heating type bathtub 1 and a filter cassette 30 detachably attached to the adapter cap 20. An attaching part 31 of the filter cassette 30 is fitted with an opening formed in part of a side face of the adapter cap 20, and the filter cassette 30 is made to communicate with a spout 6 in the adapter body 4 for spouting re-heated hot water. The re-heated hot water is made to pass through a filter 34 made of non-woven fabric or granular shell-baked calcium stored in the filter cassette 30 and is returned into the bathtub.
