PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning electric reel which can quickly recover a fishing tackle in an empty-winding state on practical spinning. SOLUTION: This spinning electric reel having a spool-driving motor for wind-driving a spool rotatably supported on the reel body of the reel, a speed-reducing mechanism mounted in a spool-driving system to reduce the rotation power of the spool-driving motor to transmit the reduced power to the spool, and a mechanical transmission for changing the rotation rate of the spool to a high speed state or a low speed state is characterized by disposing in the reel body a fishing tackle-recovering member which can be operated to switch the mechanical transmission into the high speed state to drive the spool-driving motor in the maximum winding output state.
