A multilayer solar cell (200) comprising four kinds of solar cell modules (90, 100, 70, 60) having different sensitivity wavelength bands and laid integrally in layers by incorporating four solar cell modules such that a module having a shorter central wavelength in the sensitivity wavelength band is located closer to the solar beam incident side. Three kinds of solar cell modules (90, 100, 70) are constituted, respectively, of cell group modules including a plurality of spherical solar cells (30, 40, 10) arranged in a plurality of rows and columns and the solar cell module (60) in the lowermost layer is constituted of a planar light receiving module. |
