Articles having an exterior surface comprising an inorganic biocidal agent a nd a first thermoplastic resin can provide a good combination of biocidal activity and physical properties. The biocidal activity may be enhanced by thermoforming an article or multi-layered article into a shaped article havi ng the desired level of biocidal activity.
