PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep image quality of read-out image, regardless of deformation of members for supporting an image scanner.

SOLUTION: The image scanner includes: a front side supporting unit (81) supported on the front side of front and rear directions on one side of right and left directions of the image reading device (IIT); a rear side supporting unit (82) supported on the rear side of the front and rear directions on one side of the right and left directions of the image reading device (IIT); and a central supported unit (86) supported at a center of the front and rear directions on the other side of the right and left directions of the image reading unit (IIT).
