<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion mode control unit, an image formation support device, and an image formation system capable of making an image recording device execute standby operation at appropriate timing. <P>SOLUTION: A mode control section 630 comprises an image processing time calculating section 632 calculating required time (processing time) of image processing on a RIP processing section 510 on the basis of PDL data entered from a DFE unit 500, an output device information obtaining section 634 obtaining required time (operating time) for standby operation from the IOT core section 20, and a standby operation instructing section 636 calculating a timer value to start standby operation on the basis of the obtained processing time and the operation time and instructing start of the standby operation to the IOT core section 20 so that the standby operation are carried out at appropriate timing by receiving a user instruction via a GUI section 80. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
