METHOD FOR DETECTING SPEED OF MOVING MEMBER, AND ELECTROMAGNETIC ACTUATOR DRIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an electromagnetic actuator at low costs by simplifying the structure of the electromagnetic actuator.

SOLUTION: A microcomputer 10 for generating a current command according to an inputted switching signal for outputting is connected to a coil 14 in the electromagnetic actuator via a current control circuit 12. Current Ic flowing through the coil and a voltage Vc of the coil are detected, and an amount of feature Pm equivalent to the traveling speed of a plunger is detected from a numerical expression using inductance L and resistor R in the coil.
